Winter walking

The best bit of the day was getting Mabel away from Cholmeley and taking her on a lovely long walk in a crispy winter sunshine.

Cholmeley doesn’t really understand being left behind even though he can’t walk far and he’s soooooo slow.

I regretted not doing a lake swim whilst the sun was out but the opportunity came and went and the air temperature was mind numbingly freezing.

I headed off to do a lido swim in the evening but got sidetracked and spent a happy 90 minutes in a friend’s hot tub instead. So a very leisurely day.
