Morning sky...

...20 minutes before sunrise. Some similarity to the sunsets on previous days.

It was about -7°C in the daytime, slowly getting colder. The best weather all winter for forestry, as the warmer days had dropped the snow from the trees, but there was no water dripping either, unlike Tuesday. Got some firewood home, but probably less than what was used last week.

I was using the battery powered chain saw before lunch, and the older saw from 1995 while the battery was in the charger in the afternoon. Later got a call from the service, where I left the "better" saw yesterday, telling it's finished, with worn bearings and cylinder. The old one is basically an earlier version of the same series, but somehow it seems to run forever. I need a new one though, as the vibration damping and other features of the old saw are not exactly up to date.
