Thistles

I woke up feeling totally smothered, don't know if it's a hayfever reaction, but it was most annoying. We did go on our usually walk in the woods though and by the end of the two hour walk strangely enough I had more breath than when we started. The wind and drizzle must have helped. Got all excited when we reached a part where there were all these thistles, haven't seen them for years (as we usually weren't in Europe when the thistles bloomed). Bees and butterflies everywhere on or near them, and I did capture a couple of shots with bees, but I like this shot of pure thistles and nothing else the most because even straight out of camera it looked pretty good. Have added some highlights nonetheless :-)
