Geocaching trip
This geocaching trip around Standish (with friends) had been postponed due to my trip to A&E last week. It was good to tick it off today - we found all the caches although some were in dire need of attention with broken lids and soaking wet inside.
We had a good walk of 3.5 miles - a harder walk than expected due to mud, flooded path, a lot of ups and down, including steps and slippery slopes. Good exercise!
Extra photo is one Ian took of what he called "two old codgers wading along a flooded road"! Yes, I suppose we are ha ha. Margaret at the front and me at the back.
Photo is from one of the paths, looking over to Winter Hill. We'd just walked over the railway bridge in the photo.
Had to have a nap before tea as tired out.
We have christened the air fryer today. Nothing ambitious till we get used to it. We just did frozen chips in it - they were very good, definitely a better taste and texture than oven-cooked.
