The Lucette Beacon
I went to Shaldon to meet up with my pal, John. We had a meal and a pint and a natter about our trip to Skye in March.
It's the Wide on Wednesday challenge (hosted by BobsBlips) and the theme today is 'Old'. This is the Shaldon Lighthouse or the Phillip Lucette Beacon, sitting under the cliff known as 'The Ness'. Lined up with the light at Teignmouth it guides boats safely into Teignmouth Harbour.
Looking online all the official sites say 'age unknown' but it must be pretty old otherwise someone would remember.
