Fire exotica

This was an unusual cornflower that I found in the back garden. It's unusual for us anyway, as we don't tend to get this variety. I have seen other people take shots of ones like this I think. Ours tend to have just a massive ruffle of stamen in the middle, instead of 3 prominent ones like this. Needless to say I did quite a bit of post on this again - I couldn't help myself!

It's super windy today so I was glad to get a flower shot at all. Fortunately it's reasonably sheltered behind our garage!
