Swinister

Another day with some sunshine but also some unforecast rain. A day wandering around the village and managed to bring up 20 species of bird. Nothing unusual although the Great Nothern Diver is not that common but see most years in the bay at this time of year. Also a pair of Mute Swans (Extra) which are, again, not rare but unusual for Hoswick Bay. At this time last year there were a couple for about a week and that was the first time I'd seen swans in this bay in over 40 years here.
