A.E.Oh no

Today was one of the big events in the exhibition industry calendar - The AEO Awards. The dress code stated "a dash of red" so I looked out the obligatory red tie and red socks. Thinking that wasn't splendid enough, I upped my game and gave my toenails a coat of the red stuff. I've never painted my nails before so it took a while and found myself strangely proud of my make-over achievement. However my colleagues now look at me in a strange and slightly disappointed way.

I had to get the socks and shoes off at one point as there was a doubted in our party who was quickly silenced by my exposed, and shiny toes.

I don't know how women can be bothered doing this kind of thing - so I think this will be my only adventure into the world of cross dressing!
