Breakfast At Anita's

We had time to do a money exchange trip, breakfast and a walk around the block before I had zoom calls with first an IESE board member and then their Associate Dean, prepping them to take part in the roll out of the AMP executive circles next week.  Further desk work prepping participant decks for their presentations occupied the rest of the day which concluded with Dd discovering an unauthorised withdrawal from our bank account by someone in Rio abusing our card details of €666 exactly!   We know where they are going!  Phone calls to the bank in Spain took up the early evening.   50/50 chances of getting it back....all depends on how thorough the bank investigation protocols are followed and the 'evidence' assessed! Apparently, although the money has left the account and we have details of the supposed destination (name of an establishment we don’t recognise and a reference number), we need to wait for three days for it to arrive at its destination before triggering the investigation and reclamation on the grounds, apparently, that you can’t reclaim anything until the person has received it! The amount is actually a significant amount in Brazilian reales…BRL 3,300 which is to a local almost the same amount in euros to us!
