Colder
Ice on top of the Cold Pod this morning. Four mins at 1.8 degrees, a rather different experience to 15 minutes in the 10 degrees it's been up till the last couple of days.
Another chill later in the morning running along Eastbourne seafront when the temperature was a similar 1 degree made rather more savage by the wind; I almost took a dip in the sea to warm up.
The warmth of the car provided almost instant relief from the cold air. It is quite the opposite exiting the cold water as the core body temperature continues to plummet for many minutes after seemingly getting warm and dry.
Still learning about the cold tub and its profound effects on the body and most especially the mind. I never thought I'd be able to endure complete immersion in such cold water, let alone 'enjoy' it.
