Contemplation

A walk through Hopwas Woods, an area which is controlled by the Army and is often closed because of the nearby shooting ranges.  Today was glorious in its sunshine and cloudless blue sky, the only downside was a strengthening easterly wind that brought temperatures down considerably.  Using the trees as a buffer helped reduce the wind's impact.

Noticed this man just sitting by himself in the middle of the wood.  He gave us a wave but seemed intent to be 'in the moment'.  

We'd hoped to have lunch at a local pub but apparently one of the chefs was off sick and they weren't taking any more food orders.  Instead we headed into the shopping area and ate at one of the numerous eateries.  L got some stuff she wanted and I just took the opportunity for a look around.
