My journey in Pictures

By Ella

Drymere.

A full on day, hence the late back blip... after a trip to the dump to get rid of yet more rubbish, I went to lunch in Norwich with a very dear friend.. Dropped Milly off on the way and later went out walking with her in Drymere.. It is such a beautiful woodland area near to Swaffham.
I needed to practice my navigation skills, I am very rusty and haven't used them for several years so it was great to refresh my mind and work out the route.
Drymere has some lovely wild flowers - foxgloves, daisies and buttercups and i spotted lots of bumble bees which is encouraging.
Milly had a wonderful time splashing in all the puddles left in huge ruts made by the tree felling machinery that they use these days.
In the evening tho she was unwell due I think to the horrid water that she will insist on drinking.. She has slept ever since and not even asked for her tea.
We then had a very late supper followed by an hour of skype over to Paris with Ernie's parents. He has been very homesick today and despite a shopping trip to Norwich and lunch in the waffle house (he did not like waffles) he was very down until he spoke to his parents and could see their lovely smiling faces..
I was much too tired to look at my images of the day when I finally got to bed so am uploading Saturday morning..
Have a great weekend - it is torrential rain here and we have a garden party to go to this afternoon!!!
