Shake A Tail Feather!

Or not in his case!
I can't tell one jackdaw from another, but we know that Manx, in the photo, is a regular visitor.
I wonder what happened to his tail?
Was he born that way?
Did a cat get him?
Did he shake them out???
A bird's tail feathers are used for stability and control but he seems to manage just fine. They may well grow back in the next moult.
Lots of young birds being fed just now. I have great respectation!!! for the way the birds look after their young.
