Water

Lots of it. It's been raining for days. Our garaged is partly flooded, under our house, and the streams are now rivers. Here's our local, this afternoon I hear it has completely engulfed the road. Fun for those residents, and I am sure many parts of Christchurch are the same.

Meanwhile, the snow continues. The kids and I were hopeful of getting to Tekapo tonight to stay with friends. There is a LOT of snow there, but sadly the roads were closed until late in the day. Here's a photo of their house ;-)

More rain, perfect night for a wire, a wine, and a movie!
