An Teallach from Beinn a' Bha'ach Ard
Beinn a' Bha'ach Ard (Hill of the high byre) stands at the entrance to Strathfarrar and the forecast for today was very good, with temperatures consistently below zero from the start of the walk to the top of the hill, with excellent snow conditions above 500m. Saw tracks of a fox, ptarmigan and a hare in the snow, but didn't see any if the critters. A Haar over the Beauly Firth hung around all day but the views to the west were stunning. Today's blip is An Teallach from Sgurr a' Phollain, one of the tops on the ridge up to Beinn a' Bha'ach Ard from the east. The extras are deer with Beinn a' Bha'ach Ard in the background and the haar over Strathfarrar.
