Glad my new crochet blanket wool pack arrived so I could indulge myself in the warm whilst Luna and I watched the snow falling today, it didn't settle thankfully, everywhere is too wet for that.   The temperature has been 2 degrees with a bitterly cold north easterly. 
The blanket is called Sungold and has some lovely rich colours, but the few rows I've crocheted so far brought to my mind the poem 'Warning : when I'm an old woman I'll wear purple' by Jenny Joseph !!
