Mono Monday ...

... certainly not!

An early blip for me today as I don't think I can get anything better than this beautiful red fox sleeping in our back garden amongst the snow. 

Richard got me up earlier than my usual to tell me the fox was in the backyard.  And I was more than happy to get up for such an event.  I took some photos with the 300mm lens and then switched to the 600mm to get a little closer.  This was shot from the upstairs kitchen window without benefit of a tripod. 

It's impossible to tell the gender ... but whether female or male they are lovely.
