Welcome

Our youngest, who is headed back to university tomorrow after the Christmas break - miraculously, and delightfully,  agreed to come for a walk with us! It was a beautiful, crisp winter's day and a welcome respite from the recent dark, wet weather. We had been on this walk before despite living not too far away for nearly twenty four years, so it was particularly pleasing to discover some new treasures en route, and a new favourite route. The house is going to be very quiet after tomorrow. I'm not sure I'm ever going to get used to it!
