Self-Portrait

Needed to do a self-portrait for a photo challenge, so I shot this at an outdoor theater in a local park. Decided to go for something a little different from my usual, opting for a direct flash in line with the camera, turned to high power, using a wide angle lens. The light is very hard with the distance I needed, so there are strong shadows and a natural vignette since I just used a normal flash with a fresnel lens. I think the result works really well in monochrome.
