The wood ducks are back!

There were reports that the wood ducks were back at Sullivan's Pond so I headed there after brunch to get some photos. It was easy to spot where this one was since 2 guys with big lens had them trained on this guy. One guy was laying down on the ice with his camera pointed toward the duck. The other guy was laying more in the marsh grass and at one point he changed position and had his bum in the air. I almost took a photo of him, I wanted to post it on FB saying, some guys will do anything to get the shot, lol.
There was another couple around and they pointed out where the 2 female wood ducks and another male were sitting. I hope they stay around for the rest of the winter.
The snow started around 6 pm, the forecast is still saying we are getting 5 - 10 cm here. Hopefully that is all we get. I have to get myself out of bed early enough so I can clear the walkway and driveway, plus brush the snow off the truck and still get to work on time. Another storm in the forecast for Wednesday but we are on the warm side of it so are only supposed to get rain.
