Aslamp

There's a bit of a C S Lewis art thing going on in Malvern at the moment.  Technically it has finished but there are some artworks still around and I think this one is one of the best, carefully melding the gas lamp with Aslan.

Predictably, all the artworks I've seen involve  the gas lamp - local folklore has it that, as C S Lewis was a regular visitor to Malvern and we have a lot of gas lamps (still actually running on gas) including some in obscure middle-of-nowhere settings - that they were the inspiration for the one in Narnia.
