View of Budleigh Salterton

It was a cold sunny start to the day and I went for a walk with my son.  We did one of our favourite local walks starting at White bridge and walking along the top path towards Otterton before turning inland and ending up on the coast path back to the starting point.  Although it was only 2C when we left there was very little frost and I only saw one icy puddle.  It was a lovely walk given the weather although a bit muddy along some of the lanes.  One green lane had a few fallen trees along it as well.  We met several people I knew and good to have a quick chat.  As we headed back home there were many more people out making the most of the good weather at a weekend.  

When we got back home my husband said that he just missed joining us for the walk.  He had put his walking gear on and then realised we had already gone.  As he had left a note saying he wasn't feeling quite right we left early in the morning.  He went out after lunch for a short stroll down to the beach instead.
