Muddy trig bagging

A glorious day today to be out on the trails. There was a trig we wanted to bag around Ellesmere so decided to try and fit in a half marathon. A lovely, varied run with Meres, mud, canal, mud, fields, mud, little lanes and mud. After last Spring and doing so much training in the mud, I’m somewhat resigned to it now. Splashing around in mud is just how it’s going to be until May, which is still a far better prospect than running on tarmac. We got the 13.1 miles in, bagged the trig and had a wonderful time.

Boathouse on the Mere to refuel and that was the day pretty much done.

Work tomorrow. What do I do again?!
