Kintsugi

I received a Kintsugi craft kit as a present months ago and finally tried it this weekend. It consisted of breaking a little bowl (as seen on the left) and then sticking it back together with gold coloured glue. Apparently it is supposed to 'embrace and celebrate imperfection, impermanence and incompleteness', but personally it resulted in frustration and dissatisfaction! My manual dexterity was not up to the task and I just got glue all over the bowl and my fingers, and don't particularly like the finished product. This is a craft I will only be doing once.
