The Iconic Cardrona Hotel

Because the Cardrona Ski field opened today, I knew that the road up the Cardrona Valley would be in good nick. Iit was gritted all the way to the hotel, so driving there was no problem.

All the cars going to the ski field had to fit their chains at the car park at the bottom of the road, even the 4 wheel drives. I am glad that I aren't going up this mountain road today. The couple staying with me have gone up, so I hope they have a wonderful day snowboarding. The weather is due to clear today, with -10 forecast for tonight!!
