New system

Almost there.
The picture shows Alfred doing final preparations on a pump for two staff houses at Lusangazu Upper. This is no ordinary well or pump. The blue pipe in the middle is a 20 metre pipe down a borehole drilled by our guys using a home made percussion/sludge/manual method of drilling.
This is one first. The second is that we are using our newly designed pump that will take the water from 20 metres deep and pump it up into a tank six metres high.

Looking forward to seeing it when we arrive on July 2.

Looks like this may be a new way of doing, at least, the deeper wells.

Elsewhere it looks like two other pumps were installed.
