Alternative use for a tea towel

We were given this lovely tea towel for Christmas by my sister-in-law. It seemed too good to use as a tea towel and we pondered an alternative use for it. We found the perfect answer. It is a rule of the retirement village we live in that an evacuation chart must be attached to the inside of the front door of each villa. It makes our house look like a hotel room and we don't like it at all. The rule book doesn't say it can't be covered up, so that's what we have done.We can still easily lift it to read the evacuation chart should we need to (see extra) but now we can enjoy the William Morris' beautiful 'Strawberry Thief' instead of an ugly (and out-of-date) chart
