Shoe Shine

I clean my own shoes.

Obviously when you are an important city gent, you get someone else to do it for you.

When I was a child my dad had a shoe cleaning kit with brown polish and black polish. There was a brush for each to put it on and a brush to buff it off. If I was very good he would clean my school shoes. We now have shoe polish in so many colours and I don't have a brush for each.

The subject of lighting fires kept coming up all day - we all had great fun.

Milo being a terrier, did today what terriers do - he killed a rat in the garden. I put it in the dustbin.
