I've been unwell the last while so have taken the opportunity to watch these beautiful 3 and a half hour Turkish films where not a great deal happens but does so in the ravishingly shot Anatolian landscape and in a poetic and philosophical manner. Diehard they are not.

Winter sleep and Once upon a time in Anatolia are also wonderful.
