The Longest Day 2

How can it be June 21st already? The summer solstice, first day of the aforementioned and now the nights are drawing in?

It always happens like this. One minute it is April and I'm feeling another year older and then it's the summer holidays.

Tomorrow is the Gala Dinner and I hope I can remember how to tie a black one. On Sunday, Mum is holding Open House from 11 to celebrate her 88th birthday.

This day next week I shall be on holiday for the summer and about to embark on yet another road trip. This time, both ways to collect His Nibs and bring him down to his new home in Spain.

I hope he will want to come!
