We Call him Wacko

This beautiful White-breasted Nuthatch has been pecking at our windows for several days. I first heard him flying at an upstairs window in the loft; I thought my husband was making a lot of noise in the exercise room...but no, it was sweet little Wacko. I didn't have time to run from one window to the next following him to get a good shot of him in flight, but I will try again when I have time. 

Peggy, this is my Silly Saturday entry. I know the photo isn't very silly but, trust me, this Nuthatch is very silly as he circles the house attacking every window. 

We shopped at Home Depot for bits and bobs we needed for a few home projects. We also looked at counter-depth refrigerators and Quartz countertops. We have a 24-year-old built-in refrigerator and we can't find a replacement for the same size. The island countertop in our kitchen is two different heights; the main island is counter height with a lower eating bar attached. We want to make the island all one height. Any opinions on kitchen island counters? How much over-hang do you have for your eating bar? Thanks if you have good ideas to share. I am just in the beginning thinking stage.
