Alan Stobie's little eye

By stobston

Bang.

Very important meeting in Edinburgh.

Car started to puff out little billows of smoke between gear changes on the forth bridge. By the time I had got to the Centre of Edinburgh, there was a constant stream of thick smoke behind me.

Children ran, coughing uncontrollably. Mothers covered their little ones' noses and mouths. People stared angrily.

I ditched into an expensive new town parking space at £3 an hour.

Meeting good.

Then the RAC. 4 hours. Then no proper diagnosis, so 2 different trucks later, off to my Saab specialist.

It took him 5 seconds. Turbo blown, due to sludges in sump.

Very glad I made that meeting.
