Solar Flare

or Angles of Coincidence

I just happened to look out of the window at the precise moment the angles lined up.

The very low setting sun is shining through the lens of the lighthouse on the Bass Rock twenty miles away.  It is hitting the reflector at the back and emerging back through the lens to shine through my window.  Within 5 minutes, the sun had moved the earth had rotated and the light no longer selected me as the chosen one.
