Almost sunset…

Almost a quiet day, just a few things done.

I walked to deliver a card and some daffodils to a friend, to leave them on her doorstep. She’d asked if I could delay a visit when I phoned. She was hoping to have some rest before her son came to cook her dinner.

This evening we’ve been to see One Life at the cinema. A very informative and moving film about the life of Nicholas Winton who evacuated 699 Jewish children just in time before war was declared.
