Goodbye tree, hello electric car.

Part of the morning was spent taking down Christmas decorations and stripping the tree, and wrapping it up for transportation to the tree recycling place….time ran out. None of it made the storage boxes, nor the attic.

Then a trip to Sainsbury’s. First visit to a supermarket this year.

And late afternoon a short visit to the wee family with their high chair. They’d enough paraphernalia in the car the last time here, so it got left.

Younger son and partner arrived with his new acquisition early evening. First one in the family to switch to an electric vehicle. A lot of his running about is local, and certainly in range. He’s considered it carefully, charging isn’t going to be a particular issue I understand. And they’ve got another car for much further afield, eg the Outer Hebrides.
