Floods

Couldn't walk into town along the river due to flooding. The canal was full and very close to over topping in places. The model aircraft chaps were using their flying boats on the water meadows this morning.  
The small huts used as Christmas bars were underwater at the oracle and one of their Christmas trees was wedged under the bridge. 
Had a poke around town and then walked up to the University campus for a drink at Park House. Surprisingly busy given that term does not start until Monday.
