Poorly wired and water damaged plug that was cut off its lead, alongside a properly wired replacement. Didn't fix the problem. The lead was attached to, a 110Volt transformer for use on the likes of building sites, had a hole worn through he base of its fibreglass case, and filthy water from a puddle had filled the bottom of the case and shorted out things inside. Found that after doing a portable appliance test, which it failed. Oh well, can' fix everything.
