The river Great Ouse, which runs through the middle of Bedford, has burst its banks downstream from the town centre. The resulting flood has cut off my regular cycle route and so for the last few days I have resorted to cycling along residential streets. Given that this time of year means that all my travelling to and from work takes place in the dark, it doesn't give me a massive amount of opportunity to take photographs. So, for the time being, I'm going to ignore blip protocol and do my best to collect as many usable images as I can during the daylight afforded to me at weekends. I will at least try to ensure that date-specific images are posted on the correct day.
