SEAL SANDS
Across the mouth of Greatham Creek to the industrial area of Seal Sands, early afternoon. When C and I first moved to the area we made the mistake of following the signposts to Seal Sands reasonably expecting there to be sands with seals on them, and found ourselves being turned back at security gates. No unauthorised entry. Fortunately we discovered the seals are also fairly populous along the banks of the Creek and the estuary which are publicly accessible, or at least visible from footpaths and hides.
