Auditorium

The Tanzania Wildlife Research Institute scientific conference commenced today. The agenda was chaotic and protocols extensive. At one point we had Once in Royal David’s City slow-played by a brass band to mark the entrance of a politician to the auditorium.

In the evening there was a huge banquet for all attendees, which lasted hours. The band was deafening and through it all, the Master of Ceremonies kept on talking, completely indecipherably. Consider my eardrums shattered beyond repair.
