Just Passing

After a fairly lazy day (though I did get back in the bread-baking saddle) I took myself out for a stroll around the neighbourhood, not aimless but in the rough direction of the shop where I had to shore up my beer supplies. The new, improved (ie cheaper) city street lighting means pavement walking is now done mostly in the dark but at least early evening there are plenty house lights still on. Anyway, beer bottles in hand I headed home to make a healthy dinner (bean, lentil & tomato soup) before we joined in a smaller than usual online catch-up. New Year tech gremlins notwithstanding, JacktheLad kept us well entertained!
