Bye bye Southampton, hello Cowes

Today was all about heading off on our road trip to the Isle of Wight! Unfortunately we joined the car park that is the m25, only to hear that the problem was a lorry fire on m3. So some serious diversions and more stopping and starting - we arrived at the docks in time to see our booked ferry just departing!!
We just got on the next ferry and are just arriving in Cowes now, with very excitable, but tired children (5 of them, as we are away with the gilewiczs!)
Sandcastle building tomorrow....hopefully!
