The remains

I decided to take a photo of the remains of the ice shells. They actually melted some yesterday. This fragment made me think of Devil's Tower in Wyoming. Here's a link if you've never heard of it. Maybe you know of the scene in Close Encounters of the Third Kind, where Richard Dreyfuss makes his renditions of Devil's Tower in mashed potatoes.
This is all a bit of a stretch but it did come to my mind.

It's been a very chilly day but we have had sunshine. Tomorrow will be the same but no sun. It's going to be a bitter day.
