Beach bonfire

We had a beach bonfire at the little beach across the bay, to burn up some of the tons of driftwood left there from last year's storms. We baked potatoes in the fire with mixed results(!) and two of us had a swim too. The able-bodied walked there and those of us with bad knees etc went in M's new inflatable boat, its maiden voyage. It was a really great afternoon!
