A river runs through it

When I blipped the Ford the other night the level was 3ft, it was over 4ft today which meant a lot of flooding in the local fields. So much so that Dotty and I had to wade for most of our morning walk!

The river burst its banks in a few places in the garden but only got as far the summerhouse and now it’s receding so we didn’t need to break out the lifeboats. Apparently we have a few dry days now..
