Over to the boat to reconnect the kicking block now that the cleats are freed up. And blether of course, up in the Bell Block; the Dumbo tent has arrived. And on the way back I took. a short detour via the scene of Hogmanay's crime. Given the nature of the guy who has been bumped off* you’d be forgiven for not exactly being devastated at the loss to the local community but obviously many people feel differently. “You did it your way, Marc” gushed one tribute. God help us.
Later we settled and did some shooting ourselves, mainly of freakers. but some violent drifters too. Days Gone, y’see: quite a decent PS4 game.
And finally, the SK has found a programme for me with a good dose of dark humour to lighten these days: Loudermilk. "Grumpy former music critic Sam Loudermilk grudgingly navigates the world of sobriety with surly rants, even as he guides others in recovery."

*2005, done for attempted murder and sentenced to 11 years; after release jailed for six months for trying to intimidate a man into handing over £1,000 at a garage; 2022 cleared of a double murder bid after a witness "claimed" she could not identify him; was due to stand trial for assaulting his ex at their son’s football game; faced traffic charges for driving without an MOT certificate, and twice failed to comply with roadside checks for drink or drugs....
