Long Mynd Ponies

It was meant to be a sunny day so we decided to head off to the Long Mynd where the sun disappeared 10 or so minutes after we left the car. It was dry though and after recent deluges that was enough. As we got to the top of the Mynd the mist rolled in and made for some atmospheric stomping before it floated on its way elsewhere. These young Long Mynd ponies were grooming each other so intently they did not care I was nearby. 

After the mist lifted we were treated to some distant pastel skies before getting back to the car just after dark
