Kestrel

More epic rainfall last night but thankfully we weren't too affected by  it - thinking of all those today who are suffering with floods.

But a grey day to end the week and felt quite sluggish so dragged myself out for a little local wander as I had clothes to take to the clothes bank - both of which were overflowing so seems others have been having clearouts too!

Ended up at the creek and very glad I did as the lovely kestrel was still there so it had me bothering it for ages snapping away and it didn't seem bothered by how close I was getting!  makes a walk worthwhile when that happens!  Egret was at the creek as well, along with teal, grebe, redshank, lapwing and gulls!
