Water dragon

This morning, still in Wollongong, we went with our niece to North Beach. Since we were last there a wonderful accessible wide promenade has been constructed. It was good to see so many people out and about. 

My blip is of a water dragon in the motel carpark. It was not at all shy and let me get up close and observe the detail in its integument. Don't you just love its clash of patterns? It posed so nicely for me I wondered if it thought I might feed it. No way! My extra is of the whole beast. I estimate it was about two thirds of a metre long.

Home again now. Bliss.
