Divas!

Of course!

We’ve had a wonderful visit to the Diva exhibition at the V & A museum. A brilliant and interesting exhibition of divas from long ago and now. Fantastic clothes, and music.

One of the many bits of information that stuck was that the divas of previous years were sadly manipulated by their agents and had little control over their lives, like Marilyn Monroe. Today’s divas are very different and use their gifts of song and dance to far greater and wider social benefit, as talked about in my extra.
